Special Livery Completed for SWISS First CS300 Delivery

In June, IAC’s Ostrava team travelled to Geneva for a special decal installation project on SWISS International Airlines first Bombardier CS300.

The IAC team visited Geneva to apply the printed decals over the original SWISS livery in a 36-hour process. In total, 340 square metres (1115+ feet) of printed vinyl was used for this project, weighing just under 40kg (88 pounds). The livery scheme was printed in tiled sections for application, numbering each panel and supplying SWISS with a reference key drawing for each side.

The special livery designed by Mathias Forbach, is dedicated to Western Switzerland, illustrating what ‘Suisse Romande’ means to its citizens, drawing inspiration from the regions special characteristics.

Kevin Dempsey, IAC Production Manager at Ostrava paint facility commented, “The first CS300 was a very important milestone for SWISS, and we are proud to have collaborated on this project with them. It was paramount from the outset that our team demonstrated teamwork and commitment while working closely with SWISS. Since the completion of this project we have received enthusiastic feedback from the SWISS team.”
