Shannon Ireland

Image showing our location at Shannon, Ireland

Shannon now consists of two environmentally controlled paint hangers. The original has the capacity to paint 2 A320 aircraft or up to Boeing 767 aircraft. It can take 1 A321 or 1 B757 at a time.

Hanger 2 has been designed with sustainability and efficiency at the forefront, featuring LED lighting, maximum natural light, an air recirculation system and a heat recovery system for exhaust air. Based on customer requirements, Hanger 2 can accommodate Airbus A380 aircraft and aircraft under development such as the A350-1000 and Boeing 777X.

In addition, Shannon is also the home of our Part 145C Interiors workshop. Engineering back up is available to support seat cover / foam assembly changes, cabin reconfigurations, seat interface loads, LOPA and weight and balance

The air filtration system circulates the total air in the hangar. This results in excellent airflow across the aircraft, thus removing overspray and airbourne particles.

Hazardous Waste Disposal
The hangar has a “closed loop” drainage system and hazardous water is collected and shipped to licensed hazardous disposal sites. Paint & stripper solid waste is also collected and disposed of using certified hazardous waste carriers and disposal companies. (ENVA)
