Fourth C-27J Completed for US Coast Guard

coastguard-news

As the United States Coast Guard is integrating 14 C-27J Spartans into its medium range surveillance aircraft fleet, we had the privilege of working closely with them on the stripping and painting activities for these aircraft. In 2016, our Fort Worth, Texas facility has stripped and painted four C-27J aircraft to date, with plans to paint additional tails in 2017. As this article is being written, FTW is also in the midst of stripping a fifth C-27J.

Our company has a long-standing history of supporting our troops and conducting business directly with the military and also through primes. The C-27J aircraft in particular will be performing drug and migrant interdiction, disaster response, and search and rescue missions. The aircraft’s range, endurance, speed and payload will make it a valuable asset in addressing the Coast Guard’s maritime flight hours gap.

We are extremely proud of our USCG and are honored to support them in the painting and stripping events for their fleets. Go USA!
